Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy is the percentage of the service price that is non-refundable in the event of a no show or a cancellation of a booking. This amount will cover for loss of income incurred by both the servicer and Ontizi.

Policy defined:

  1. All bookings canceled up to/ more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.
  2. All bookings canceled in less than or within 48 hours to the scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% cancellation fee.
  3. All clients that do not show up to their appointments in the scheduled time will be charged 100% cancellation fee except for no shows that meet the cancellation & no show- permitted criteria listed in our terms of agreements.
Refund Policy:

Ontizi will issue a refund for the following circumstances hereunder. The amount or rate of refund where unspecified will be determined individually per case.

  1. Where a servicer does not honor an appointment: a 100% refund will be issued to the client including the 5% service fee.
  2. Where services were not as described or an element in the package was missing, we will review each case individually and carefully examine all evidence provided and thereafter make a judgment of the rate of refund if and where applicable.
  3. Where the client wishes to cancel their appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Clients will receive a 90% refund of the service price.
  4. For no shows or cancellations allowed under the cancellation or no show- permitted criteria clients or users may receive up to 100% refund.
  5. For any other specific cases, kindly write to help@ontizi.co.tz.
  6. To apply for a refund, email us help@ontizi.co.tz, Subject being “Application for a refund” and in the body of text, stating the reason i.e stating the subsection in which your application qualifies for a refund i.e 2.4(A) or 2.4 (B), submit proof in form of communication, photos or documents where applicable.
No-show Permitted criteria:

These are events that occur after booking that are unforeseen at the time of booking and prevent the honoring of the appointment by either party . In such circumstances, clients are eligible to apply for a partial or full refund when they cancel or do not make it to their appointments. The rate of refund may depend on whether the cancellation was made more than 48 hours before the scheduled booking time, less than 48 hours before the scheduled booking time or whether it is a complete no show. These cases will also be reviewed on an individual basis factoring in causes, time of cancellation along with other submitted proof and documentation. 

The criterias are;

  1. Death of a user client
  2. Death of a user Servicer
  3. Declared emergencies and epidemics. These include government declared local or national emergencies, epidemics, pandemics and or other government declared health related emergencies
  4. Natural disasters i.e acts of God, volcanic eruptions, Tsunamis, and other abnormal weather conditions. These do not include conditions common or foreseeable for the location. I.e heavy rains or heavy winds in an area that receives a lot of rains or winds or in a rainy season.
  5. Military actions like acts of war, civil wars, invasions, terrorism, riots and any other nature of civil unrest.
  6. Government imposed travel restrictions

Ontizi does not issue refunds on any other reason beyond these mentioned above and the normal cancellation policy will be applied for all other reasons other than those stipulated above.
